A single shampoo base can be used to create different shampoos for different hair needs. By simply adding herbs, hydrosols, essential oils, or active ingredients, you can make customized shampoo recipes at home with minimal effort and consistent results.

DIY RECIPE 1 –Golden Herbal Shampoo

INGREDIENTS

200 Grams, Shampoo Base Concentrate

4 Grams, Amla Powder

4 Grams, Shikakai Powder

4 Grams, Fenugreek Powder

4 Grams, Bhringraj Powder

4 Grams, Reetha Powder

4 Grams, Brahmi Powder

1 Gram, Kalonji Oil

4 Grams, Lavender Essential Oil

2 Litres, Distilled water

PROCEDURE

Step 1

Take Amla Powder, Shikakai Powder, Reetha Powder, Fenugreek Powder, Bhringraj Powder, Reetha Powder, Brahmo in 2 liters Distilled water/Filter water and boil till the concoction becomes 1/4th. Strain the mixture and add 200 ml of this concoction to the Shampoo Base concentrate and mix well.

Step 2

Add 1 gram Kalonji Oil to the base and mix till the oil is incorporated fully.

Step 3

Add 4 grams Lavender Essential oil to the base and mix till the oil is infused fully.

Step 4

Pour in a sanitized bottle and store at room temperature for future use.

DIY RECIPE 2 – Rosemary Shampoo

INGREDIENTS

200 Grams, Shampoo Base Concentrate

100 Grams, Rosemary Hydrosol

100 Grams, Distilled Water (Filter Water)

4 Grams, Rosemary Essential Oil

PROCEDURE

Step 1

In a sanitized container, weigh and add 200 grams of Shampoo Base Concentrate.

Step 2

Weigh and add 100 grams Rosemary Hydrosol to the base and mix till the hydrosol is incorporated fully.

Step 3

Weigh and add 100 grams Distilled Water to the base and mix till it is incorporated fully.

Step 4

Add 4 grams of Rosemary Essential Oil and mix till the oil is infused fully

Step 5

Pour in a Sanitized bottle and store in a clean dry place for future use.

DIY RECIPE 3 – Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

INGREDIENTS

200 Grams, Shampoo Base Concentrate

10 Grams, Encapsulated Salicylic Acid

(You can add 2 to 5% of Salicylic Acid depending on the severity of dandruff)

100 Grams, Tea Tree Hydrosol

100 Grams, Distilled Water (Or Filter water)

5 Grams, Tea Tree Essential Oil

PROCEDURE

Step 1

In a sanitized container weigh and add 200 grams of Shampoo Base concentrate.

Step 2

Add 100 grams Tea Tree Hydrosol, 100 grams Distilled water and 10 grams Encapsulated Salicylic acid and mix till all the ingredients are incorporated fully.

Step 3

Add 5 grams Tea Tree Essential Oil and mix till the oil is infused fully.

Step 4

Pour in a Sanitized bottle and store in a clean dry place for future use.

DIY RECIPE 4 – Onion & Aloevera Shampoo

INGREDIENTS

200 Grams, Shampoo Base Concentrate

100 Grams, Aloevera Distillate

100 Grams, Lavender Hydrosol

5 Grams, Aloe vera Gel

0.5 Grams, Onion Seed Oil

5 Grams, Lavender Essential Oil

PROCEDURE

Step 1

In a sanitized container weigh and add 200 grams of Shampoo Base concentrate.

Step 2

Weigh and add 100 grams Lavender Hydrosol and 100 grams of Aloe vera Distillate and mix till all the ingredients are incorporated fully.

Step 3

In a small bowl weigh and add 5 Grams Aloevera Gel, in which you add 0.5 grams (3 to 4 drops) of Onion Seed Oil and mix to form a hazy paste.

Step 4

Add this paste to the shampoo base and mix till the ingredients are incorporated fully.

Step 5

Add 5 grams of Lavender Essential Oil and mix till the oil is infused fully.

Step 6

Pour in a Sanitized bottle and store in a clean dry place for future use.
