You can add fragrance oils, essential oils, colours or natural powders to the base and mix well before bottling your finished body wash. Premium Sulfate-Free Transparent & Pearly Bases – suitable for gentle skin care.

 A regular body wash base is ready to use directly or with additives. A concentrated base is stronger in formulation and typically needs to be diluted with water (for example, a 1:1 ratio with distilled water) before use, which helps stretch the base for larger batches.

Many body wash bases on Soapy Twist (like the Premium Sulfate Free Transparent/Pearly Body Wash Base) are Sulfate free and Transparent/Pearly Body Wash Base are SLS-free, silicone-free and formulated at a skin-friendly pH (around 5–6.5), making them gentle for regular use on all skin types.

To make your body wash:

1. Pour the base into a sanitized container.
   
   
2. If using a concentrate, dilute with water (e.g., 1:1 ratio).
   
   
3. Add your chosen extracts, oils or colours.
