Phenoxyethanol

Phenoxyethanol is a colourless and odourless liquid used as a preservative because of its ability to kill bacteria and stabilise formulas, extending their shelf life and making them safe for use. 

It is used in the following applications. 

1. Shampoo, Shower gels ,Body wash ,hand wash and other rinse off products

2. Creams and lotions 

3. Colour cosmetics  

4. Serums

Dosage - 0.3% to 1% 

pH - 5 to 7 

Shelf life - 2 years
