HOW TO USE ?

HOW TO USE ACTIVATED CHARCOAL MELT AND POUR SOAP BASE

Transform your skincare with our Activated Charcoal Soap Base. Purify and rejuvenate your skin effortlessly. Melt, pour, and create stunning soaps that banish acne and blemishes. Order now for radiant results!

Step 1
UNBOX THE SOAP BASE AND CUT IN SMALL CHUNKS
Weigh and cut the Activated Charcoal soap base into small chunks.
Step 2
MELT THE SOAP BASE IN A HEAT SAFE CONTAINER IN A MICROWAVE.
Melt the Activated Charcoal soap base in a heat safe sanitised container. To the heat safe beaker, add a spoon ful of water for moisture loss. Place a cling film or lid over the beaker and heat for sixty seconds. Stir the base once after 60 seconds and repeat the process till the soap melts fully.
Step 3
ALTERNATVIELY, YOU MAY USE THE DOUBLE BOILER METHOD TO MELT THE SOAP BASE.
Alternatively you may use a double boiler. Add the soap chunks to a double boiler or a soap melter, add a tea spoon of water to compensate for moisture loss. Keep Stirring gently till the soap chunks melt completely. Make sure not to over heat the soap base or it will burn.
Step 4
ADD THE FRAGRANCE / ESSENTIAL OIL TO THE MELTED SOAP BASE
Add the fragrance oil/ essential oil / herbal powder to the melted soap base and mix well. Ensure that the dosage for Essential Oil should not exceed 1% and for Fragrance Oil should not exceed 2%. Limit the use of Herbal Powder to 2% of your total output.
Step 5
POUR MELTED SOAP IN SOAP MOULD
Pour the melted soap base in a heat safe soap mould and leave it to set at room temperature.
Step 6
SPRAY ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL TO RELEASE THE AIR BUBBLES
Spray Isopropyl Alcohol to release all the air bubbles on the surface of the soap.
Step 7
ONCE FULLY SET, DEMOULD THE SOAP AND SHRINK WRAP FOR FUTURE USE
Once the soap is fully hard, pop the soap out of the mould and shrink wrap in cling film for future use. Use the soap within 24 months.
INGREDIENTS

Water

H2O, steam-distilled water is used in making this soap base. It is free from impurities and hard water minerals, and provides a pure and essential base for your DIY soap-making projects, ensuring clear and clean results.

Propylene Glycol

Propylene glycol (also called glycerin) is a pharma grade colorless, odorless, viscous liquid. It is derived from vegetable oils. It acts as a surfactant, cleanser, emulsifier, and viscosity-controlling agent in cosmetics.

Sodium Stearate

Sodium stearate is the sodium salt of stearic acid. It is a white, waxy powder derived from vegetable or animal fats and oils. It acts as a cleanser, emulsifier, and viscosity-controlling agent in cosmetics.

Activated Charcoal (Coconut)

Activated charcoal, made from coconut shells, offers a natural black or grey color for melt and pour soaps, and offers deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation and natural anti bacterial benefits. Its a highly recomended soap base to make soaps for acne prone skin.

Kosher Certified Glycerin

Glycerin (also called glycerol) is a kosher certified colorless, odorless, viscous liquid. It is derived from plant sources and is used as a humectant in skincare and hair care formulations.

Sucrose

Sucrose is common table sugar, composed of glucose and fructose. It is a sweetening agent used in various food products.

Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES)

SLES is a surfactant commonly used in personal care products. It acts as a foaming agent and cleanser.

Sodiuam Laurate

Sodium laurate is another surfactant used in cosmetics. It helps dissolve dirt and oils.

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid (EDTA)
